  • Abstract
    A novel modular architecture for realizing multisensor data fusion systems is proposed in this paper. The measuring system is based on the paradigm of cellular neural networks. An in-depth analysis of this system is presented and suitable methodologies for the design of the sensory system are emphasized. Applications in the field of smart structures are proposed
