Abstract :
2× DVD-ROM drive has been developed under with a rate of 2.76 MB/s, double the speed of regular DVD data transfer, and low data jitter is realized by a high bandwidth equalizer (HBW EQ). A 4 Mbits SDRAM (synchronous D-RAM) is introduced as the buffer memory in order to process for data both the 2× speed DVD-ROM and the DVD video player
