            Abstract : 
Too many polygon faces were produced if complicated cad model converts to virtual reality model while making use of the current data interface, it failed to meet with the real time requirement in virtual reality environment. In order to decreasing the number of the polygon faces at a proper precision of geometry model, the method was introduced to get the points data at the boundaries in the B-rep based cad model and realizing the algorithm from multi-loop plane regions to single loop regions; surface triangulation was realized by getting the points data and their turns in the uv parameter region of the surface. The algorithm has good effect in practice.
