Abstract :
By means of theoretical analysis and modal experiment combined with research of material, the inherent frequency and damping coefficient will be studied for the steel fiber-free frictional pad that is reinforced by mixture and made by the authors. The effects of material ingredients and percentages on dynamic properties of material will be investigated. The conclusion is that the steel fiber-free frictional pad reinforced by mixture has better performance of reducing vibration and lowering noise. The results will be guidable to the further design and research of steel fiber-free frictional material with less vibration and low noise.
