Abstract :
This paper is concerned with system identification for robust control in the frequency domain. The authors propose a new method for identification of both the nominal plant model and the uncertainty bounding function. The method produces the models that approximately minimize the given L norm costs via the set-membership approach. In addition, the method is applicable to both continuous and discrete time systems. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the validity of the proposed identification method
