Abstract
Educational content is constantly changing due to updates in the education syllabus causing the educational software is not updated and therefore the contribution to the teaching process is limited. A CMS (Content Management System) and LMS (Learning Management System) have features that can be used in a combined way in order to create educational environments that enhance the teaching- learning process in classrooms. This paper presents an architecture for the development of a Web System that for managing and presenting educational content through an interface similar to an educational software allowing to reduce time and effort during the development process of this type of software. Our proposal borrows the main features both CMS and LMS in order to manage and reuse educational content. We present a case study where emphasize the use of our approach.
