This is mainly because cloud computing presents a solution to many challenges faced by ICT penetration in Nigeria such as erratic power supply, cost of ICT infrastructure, cost and expertise of personnel to manage ICT amongst many others. This paper reviews some of the challenges faced in Nigeria towards bridging the digital divide and making the impact and benefits of ICT available to all. The paper also presents the advantages cloud computing has to offer and the challenges Nigeria might have adopting it as a developing economy.
