Abstract :
In this paper a new approach for integration of tool management and data management in an IC CAD framework environment is presented. We describe how tools and data are integrated into the framework. A module called Hub Monitor bridges a gap between the areas of data manager and tool manager. Also a rule base is applied. The important feature of this technique is its simplicity and clearness for the users
