Abstract :
Existing fast frequency sweep techniques involve approximations, the application of which is limited to either a finite band width or lossless problems. A new fast frequency sweep algorithm is proposed in this work. This algorithm has no limitation in effective bandwidth. In addition, it is applicable to general electromagnetic problems that involve both lossless and lossy inhomogeneous materials and arbitrarily shaped 3-D structures. Numerical experiments have demonstrated its validity.
