Abstract
This paper report an all-magnetic MEMS-based resonant compass, driven electromagnetically by an excitation coil and sensed using a Hall-effect sensor. The magnetic amplification provided by the resonator makes it potentially suitable for compact, low voltage portable navigation systems.
