Abstract :
A computer Program which analyzes dynamic behavior of buoy-cable system has been developed. The surface buoy at the top of cable could be a small spheriod buoy with surface package or a spar buoy. The cable properties may vary along its length, with or without intermediate bodies. The static configuration calculation of cable in the presence of current and wind is versatile to copy with various conditions. The dynamaic response to wave excitation is computed in the time domain. Results of two examples are given in this paper.
