Abstract :
In this paper, we show the deference between profitable companies and unprofitable companies by using patent data, financial data, and alliance data. It is indicated that profitable companies could efficiently invest the R&D cost by make patents surely and profitable companies make the alliance more strategically than unprofitable companies.
