Abstract
The concept of quadratic boundedness for an uncertain nonlinear dynamical system is defined and a sufficient condition for quadratic boundedness of a class of nonlinear systems which have an uncertain additive bounded disturbance input is then given. A relationship between quadratic boundedness of an uncertain system and quadratic stability of the system without disturbance is also developed. The results are applied to the rotational motion of a spacecraft subject to bounded disturbance torques
