Abstract :
The relationship between direct cost and activity duration is the base of network planning. Under normal circumstances in order to calculate it simply they assumed that the relationship is linear, in fact the direct cost of the project in function is nonlinear. Based on the comprehensive analysis of a large number of projects this paper developed a universal nonlinear function of the direct cost and use neural network to solve the coefficients. The nonlinear function of direct cost can describe the relationship between direct cost and duration more precise. After simulation of project, it is verified that the method is validity practicality.
