Abstract :
In this paper, the corrosion-resistant GMR head is exposed to corrosive gases, the recording characteristics is measured using a helical-scan tape system. A corrosion-resistant GMR head using an spin-valve (SV) film(Ta/NiFe/CoNiFe/CuAu/CoNiFe/PtMn/Ta) was fabricated.
