Abstract :
This paper proposes the PIM-ASCII100 digital data encoding scheme for short distance infrared (IR) wireless communication between two nodes. This PIM-ASCII100 digital data encoding scheme is a modified version of the pulse position modulation (PPM) data encoding scheme and is intended for fast, low power and reliable IR wireless transmission with simple, minimum and low-cost hardware implementation
