Abstract :
For characterising the magnetostatic wave (MSW) soliton-like pulses propagating in ferrite films the output pulse peak amplitude Phimax(Phi0) and halfheight width W(Phi0) dependencies on the rectangular input pulse amplitude and width T are typically used. So far an influence on these parameters of the transient processes, corresponding to an interference of the solitonic and nonsolitonic parts of the MSW pulse and dispersive disturbances of the rectangular input pulse haven´t been discussed. The main goal of this work is to analyse some possible effects of transient processes on MSW solitons.
