  • Abstract
Automobile driveline test system is used to test and study the driveline components and assembly (DCA). This paper introduces the structure and principle of the test system, illuminates the application of frequency conversion technology in the test of the DCA. The drive system commands the drive motor to produce the necessary speed (RPM) and torque to simulate engine power. The actual driving resistances are analyzed systematically and a feasible loading plan is made according to the national test standards for automobile. With the programming of the software LabVIEW, the driving resistance could be accurately simulated based on test requirement by the electric motor which can fulfill the loading in different conditions and of different functions. Whatpsilas more, part of the energy used in the test system can be fed back and recycled. Actual tests show that the driveline test system could work peacefully and complete the corresponding tests and researches.
