Abstract :
In today´s world, server cost is a big burden for companies and using it efficiently is a difficult issue to cope with. A typical enterprise datacenter contains a lot of servers. The workloads vary widely depending on the application requirements, user activity and network conditions. Thus many servers spend much of their time idle. That means waste of precious resources such as power and cooling and ongoing maintenance. At this point, server virtualization attempts to increase resource utilization by dividing individual physical servers into multiple virtual servers each with its own operating environment and applications.
