Abstract :
Magnetomechanical coupling factor, piezomagnetic d-constant and magnetic permeability are reported as a function of magnetic field and applied stress for stress annealed Fe-Ga and Fe-Al alloys. Magnetic field dependences of the samples were measured as a function of the intrinsic saturation flux density (Js), lowest order cubic anisotropy coefficient (Kcubic), uniaxial anisotropy lowest order coefficient (Kuniaxial) and saturation magnetostriction (lambdasat).
