  • Abstract
    Locomotive velocity tracing interface is the very important equipment in locomotive cab. It has the great influence on the driving operation of locomotive. At present, there are three main display modes of velocity tracing, respectively curve mode, dial mode and column mode. Based on the cognitive characteristics of human being and the reliability of operation, it was analyzed these three display modes of locomotive velocity tracing in the paper. And there was a comparative research on the reliability of operation about the three display modes, according to different task levels, distance intervals and peoplepsilas experience levels. The results show that the curve mode is fluctuated slightly by the environment and with few mistakes, which is better than the dial mode and the column mode.
