Abstract :
Summary form only given. In this article an attempt is undertaken to contribute to the description of the systematics in modern technology transfer and innovation. From the very fundamental views of general physical laws and corresponding domains on the one hand and basic market potential on the other hand, in the field of optical technologies the R&D processes are analysed. Generalization of three examples of innovations leads to common characteristics and thus to systematic aspects of the innovation process in so called vertical structures.
