Abstract :
Hard asphalt mixture is of excellent high-temperature stability, water stability, and anti-fatigue properties. This article studies the application and related construction technology of hard asphalt mixture starting with the performance of hard asphalt mixture, putting forward its application in some areas as high-temperature area, heavy duty road, long and large longitudinal of mountains area, the covering of deck etc., including some research on construction techniques of the hard asphalt mixture as temperature control, transportation, paving, compaction, quality control etc. Research shows that the asphalt pavement rutting and shear damage can be solved better in the area with torridity in summer when the hard asphalt applies in the medium and the lower base course of asphalt pavement, and strictly controlling the temperature scope of the request in various construction processes is the key technology of hard asphalt construction.
