Abstract :
This paper describes realization of three phase transformer model based on non-linear open circuit characteristic. Proposed model is based on the fact that in case of connection star with neutral wire on primary windings for all three phases, applied voltage represents phase voltage and line (phase) currents are magnetization currents. These variables are available for measuring and it is easy to obtain three non-linear open circuit characteristics. Results of simulations and comparison with references verified this approach.
