Abstract :
In this paper the rotational power losses under controlled high magnetic field intensity (up to 20 kA/m) are presented for the first time. Three types of electrical steel sheets are used namely; fully processed non-oriented 0.50 mm thick, low Si content (FPNO), conventional grain-oriented 0.27 mm thick, 3 % Si (CGO) and high-permeability grain-oriented 0.27 mm thick, 3 % Si (HPGO).
