Abstract :
Ferroresonance phenomena are due to the interaction between nonlinear inductances and capacitances of a power network forming a resonant circuit. These phenomena may be caused by switching operations or such disturbances as temporary short-circuits. They are characterised by the possible existence of several stable states, besides the normal steady-state, that induce dangerous overcurrents and overvoltages. The present study deals with the ferroresonance phenomena in three-phase isolated neutral power networks with three single-phase voltage transformers
