Abstract :
The ocean wave spectrum is used to simulate the wave. This research uses real sea spectrum to control the simulation process. First step is to make one two-dimensional picture into grids in which the height data can be imported through mathematical model. Simulating the sea level by means of the wave girds that consist of spatial point (x,y,z). To get the wave animation, it sets a time interval to change the wave frames which is made before in continually. At last utilize the Visual Basic and the free Open Graphics Library to make the visual simulation come true. Specifically, it observes when the wave number is below 10, the simulation effect begins to lose reality. While the wave number is over 30, the wave levels begin to shake. To get the best effect is when the number close to 24.
