Abstract :
Summary form only given. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the use of photocatalyst. TiO/sub 2/ is a most attractive because of its stability to acid, base and organic solvent. It is used to purify organic pollutants in water and air, in order to clean cigarette´s tar, and to sterilize bacteria. This study may enhance the photocatalytic effect due to the increase of surface area and the decrease of light reflection. We drilled microholes densely on the bulk TiO/sub 2/ (rutile[100] surface) by femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser, whose wavelength is 780 nm.
