Abstract :
The interlocking simulation system is an important part of the simulation and testing platform of CTCS-3 train control system, which adopts a mechanism of separating the software from the application data in order to guarantee the flexibility of the software. At present the preparation of the application data, including station track topology data, route displaying data, and interlocking table data and so on are all prepared manually, which is time-consuming and cumbersome, is also prone to error due to the high demand for the expertise of the person preparing the data. To address this problem, a method for the automatic generation of application data for interlocking simulation system based on GIS infrastructure data is proposed, and the design of the complementary software tool is described in this paper. Firstly, the features of graphic elements and their relative position are extracted from the GIS infrastructure database, and the graphic elements are connected to build the station track topology. Secondly, more information related with the position of the graphic elements can be obtained by searching the track topology. Finally, formatted data files and ACCESS table storing the application data of interlocking simulation system can be generated according to the requirements of interlocking simulation system.
