Abstract :
The time domain characteristic of short range target body echo of UWB array was analyzed based on the Gaussian pulse. The mathematical relation between the pulse width and the most radiation direction of UWB array, angle of target position was put forward, a method for angle estimation using pulse width of target echo was put forward first time. Through simulation and calculating, the feasibility of the new method was validated.
