Abstract :
A new single-phase multilevel current-source inverter (CSI) topology is proposed. The structure of this new topology is very simple. The switching strategy that can ensure equal current division among the branches and current harmonics reduction is presented. Simulations as well as practical experiments analyze the characteristics of this new topology.
