  • Abstract
    Harmonic detection based on wavelet transform was studied. The single wavelet, multi-wavelet and wavelet packet transform and their fine kernel functions in fields of signal processing were adopted and selected. Detecting effect with different transform methods was compared. A kind of virtual harmonic detector based on LABVIEW was built. Time domain waveform of first and each harmonic was decomposed with help of wavelet transform. Steady-state harmonic signal, momentary harmonic signals, intermittent harmonic signal, Gaussian white noise signal were analyzed. The results indicated that the virtual instruments can achieve better harmonic measurement and analysis.
