Abstract
A single 1.8 V supply, lowpass, sixth-order elliptic gm-C filter based on new biquadratic architecture in 0.18 μm CMOS process is presented. For high Q biquadratic stages, needed in this filter, Q enhancement techniques are used. Simple architecture of the proposed biquadratics filter makes it useful for high frequency applications with proper dynamic range. The cut off frequency of this filter is 33 MHz. It has a THD of -40 dB for 0.2 Vpp, 10 MHz signal and OIP3 of 4 Vpp. The filter consumes 300 μA and has 1.1mVrms total noise.
