Abstract :
Summary form only given. We present measurements on photonic crystal waveguides (PCWs) realised in an epitaxial GaAs-AlGaAs waveguide heterostructure. The PCWs with different periodicities (a=200 to 280 nm to operate in the 2D TE bandgap) were fabricated using electron-beam lithography and reactive-ion etching. Measurements were made using our micro-photoluminescence setup.
