The Construction and Running of a Contemporary Software Training Base in a Chinese University

How to enhance the practicing ability and how to suit the social demand for talent have become a serious problem for engineering specialties in universities which should be solved immediately. Then a software engineering base with a high jumping-off point, wide subjects and multiple purposes was established exclusively in a Chinese university. Through the creation of training courses, enhancement on school-enterprise cooperation, organizing the extra-curricular technical activities and competitions, the students will acquire the abilities of independent learning and development projects after being trained. A way to success is being initially explored in this paper.
