Abstract
Gamma camera is equipment for gamma-rays imaging. It is widely used in the field of nuclear detecting, nuclear medicine, nuclear radiation, environmental monitoring and nation security etc. Modern gamma camera is developed for the goals of high sensitivity, high resolution, high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) and convenience for handing. The Data Acquisition System (DAQ) systems used on Gamma camera are one of the important parts of the system. In the system, there is an important requirement to make the data transformed through the wireless network between the on-hand embedded computer and the reconstruction PCs. This paper introduces the DAQ software framework based on the embedded linux system. The framework is the control system for wireless environments. It provides a network transparent inter-process communication layer based on client/server mechanism. To start with the paper, the base frame, the function and API of the system is introduced. Next, the key technology details on how to migrate the driver from general linux system to the ARM based embedded-linux system are described. In addition, the example of how to realize the API between the readout software and the control software is raised. Finally, summarize the feasibility of coding the interface software based on the frame. The frame is a very powerful communication framework to the systems.
