Abstract :
Inelligent transformer systerm needs gather large amounts of data of transformer body and power system. In order to detect the detailed status of operating transformer, high speed data acquisition and processing system based on FPGA and ARM is designed in this paper. In this system , we use EP2C5Q208 FPGA of Cyclone II which belongs to Altera and NXP LPC1768 ARM. Data is captured by high-speed parallel ad converters and send to FPGA for FFT. And then the data is sent to ARM for advance data processing. The final data will be sent to PC by 10/100 ethernet for advanced analysis. The high speed data acquisition and processing system meet the requirements of intelligent transformer design.
