Abstract :
This paper describes a monitoring technology used to monitor multiple-photovoltaic (PV) panels, called PV arrays in the Photovoltaic system. PV systems need to be monitored to detect breakdown and optimize their operation. However most of the monitoring systems depend on the total energy production of a PV system. To investigate these cases accurately, we need to measure separate information of PV arrays (current, voltage, module temperature etc.). Therefore, we have proposed a monitoring technology to manage PV arrays that is highly scalable and easy to use. This technology made a monitoring device available for measuring PV arrays. It can monitor a real-time information of each PV array and compare the performance of PV arrays in order to evaluate the operation of the PV system.
