Abstract :
Summary form only given. We have demonstrated that a fan-shaped grating can be effectively used for wide band optical parametric oscillator (OPO) tuning. The obtained domain quality indicates that fan angle can be extended to cover the whole transparency range of periodically poled KTiOPO/sub 4/ based OPO pumped by a 1064 nm laser.
