Abstract
Robust signaling monitoring is critical to the successful deployment, maintenance and optimization of all networks. However, the complexity of 3G UMTS networks means that the demands on signal monitoring increase significantly. To develop a test methodology for UMTS requires the use of 3G test equipment that can meet the challenges that arise. Signaling monitoring solution, such as the J7830A Signaling Analyzer and acceSS7 UTRAN from Agilent Technologies, are critical tools to help operators and NEMs solve interoperability problems between the equipment from different vendors, troubleshoot network problems to reduce down time, accurately assess performance and quality.
