Abstract
This paper studies the aggregate and structural relationship between energy consumption and economic growth of three northeastern provinces using the grey relational models. Result indicates that there exist distinctive internal economic structure in all three provinces. Whereafter we find that the energy consumption of Jilin has the highest correlation to the economic growth of all three provinces and it´s dependence of economic growth on energy consumption is loweast in of all provinces using Grey relatonal analysis. At last we come up some suggestion that the short-term dependence on energy consumption in economic growth of the three northeastern provinces in china should not be ignored.
