Abstract :
Summary form only given. A theoretical model of actively mode-locked Er-doped fiber lasers operating in the rational-harmonic repetition-rate-doubling regime is presented for the first time. The model is based on the self-consistency of the pulse after two round-trips in the laser cavity. In the special case of compensated intracavity dispersion, a simple analytical solution is obtained. The model allows us to determine the relative temporal position of the pulse.
