  • Abstract
    This paper gives a conception of the coordinates of the four corners of an image data file and a conception of a large image data file. A method for making the large image data file from separated image data files (imagery registration) and a way for controlling the display of vector information on the large image data files is proposed. The imagery registrations are done by using the coordinates of four corners of input image data files instead of the traditional template matching algorithm. It is suitable for the images which devoid of features and/or with little overlap in between. The average error of the coordinates of the output images is also discussed. Experiments were done with aerial photographs and some maps; and the results showed that the above methods are available, effective and practical
