Abstract :
The power presses with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical drives are widely used as the impact action devices in a whole series of engineering processes. A current methodology enables one to find common problems of devices research and design and to develop effective methods for theirs analysis and synthesis. With technological development the area of impact action mechanisms application is expanded. Electromagnetic press equipment is advantageous to use them for pressing, because it converts electric energy to kinetic energy of rectilinear motion of the operating unit with no additional transmissions. As a result, the kinematics is simplified, and because of that specific energy, force parameters and the reliability are increased, and ecological compatibility is improved for this equipment. Because of design procedure which may project such devices in exactly compliance with requirements specification is absent, a progress in this aria is reduced for such devices. Especially it is concern to small travel mechanisms for knockless cold pressing, riveting, marking. The features of the operations that maximal tractive force and maximal useful mechanical work on the finite end of a tractive characteristic, when a height core satiation.
