An Empirical Study of Technology Innovation Efficiency of Regional High-Tech Industry Based on DEA-Malmquist Index Approach

Abstract :
By combining the Data Envelopment Analysis method with the Malmquist productivity index, this paper carries out a dynamic evaluation of technology innovation efficiency of Henan´s High-Tech industries from 2004 to 2008. The results show that technical innovation efficiency of these industries is not effective. The reasons are analyzed by inspecting technology efficiency change and technological change, and some recommendations are given.
