Abstract :
For automobile engine exhaust, the model of thermoelectric conversion system is established, numerical calculation of convection heat transfer and resistance characteristics of the channel is done. It has shown that with the intensified thermoelectric system, the heat transfer efficiency can be enhanced through convection heat transfer and acquire higher convection heat transfer coefficient; at the same time, lower flow resistance, pressure drop and notably extending heat transfer area can be reached by changing the cross section shape of the channel, then all amelioration above can greatly improve the performance of the thermoelectric conversion system.
