Abstract :
This paper has analyzed the differences in the concept of innovative thinking between the East and the West by using a common animal in people´s daily life. Through mouse and Mickey Mouse, it shows a deeper cultural phenomenon about innovative thinking of the Chinese and Westerners. This paper analyzes mouse which ranks first in the Zodiac of Chinese, successfully transformed into Mickey Mouse in the Western world. And by enlarging the internal factors of this phenomenon, it reflects the differences in thinking innovation between Chinese and Western cultures. First of all, rich culture of China and Western world in politics, religion and different beliefs reflects the different ways of thinking between Chinese and Westerners. Secondly, there will be a discussion and reflection of differences in innovative thinking between the East and the West. Finally, with the development of the global village environment, innovative thinking will promote the Eastern and Western development and it will have a more harmonious integration.
