Abstract
This paper presents the basic concepts for integrating online data into distributed maintenance applications. The results presented are part of and driven by the requirements on the PROTEUS project, which consists in designing and modelling of a distributed network oriented platform for integration of maintenance applications. The presentation starts with a brief overview of the overall project and is mainly focused on describing the way of integrating data coming from automation equipment into maintenance strategies
