A Bellcore program which establishes the generic requirements for an effective product reliability assurance program for telecommunications products is outlined. The program describes the specific tasks that need to be implemented during conception, validation, development, production, installation, and operational phases of the product life cycle for implementation of an integrated hardware reliability assurance program
