Abstract :
Basic electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) concepts and definitions are presented, and the most Common US and international standards on emission and susceptibility which are likely to be of interest to telephone equipment and system designers are reviewed. EMC requirements, both for emissions and immunity, are given, and EMC measurement accuracy is briefly discussed
